This is my second resolution.
I just deleted close to 13,000 unread messages from my gmail account. It's not that I'm popular, it's just that every single online retailer and recipe service has my address, and most bombard me with messages at least daily. And I've had enough of it.
Not only will I do a better job of keeping up with the messages I receive (instead of doing it semimonthly), but I will also unsubscribe from 80 percent of them in the coming days.
