A Healthier, Less Expensive, and Less Processed Kitchen
This is my first resolution. We're eating healthier this year than we did last year, but we still have a ways to go.
I DO have ideas! When I'm trying to keep cooking simple and straightforward and utterly uncomplicated, there are two cookbooks I go to again and again. One is The Vegetarian Five Ingredient Gourmet by Nava Atlas, and the other is the Cooking Light 5 Ingredient 15 Minute Cookbook.
And, for the ultimate inspiration, visit the blog 30 Bucks a Week (linked at right). It's amazing.
I agree. I would love to learn a series of recipes that work with ingredients easily found that I could incorporate into a lifestyle. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteMy main goal is to not gain back the weight I lost last year by paying attention to what I eat. Less carbs, more protein.
